In 2025, Just 4 Him Men’s Haircuts celebrates an important milestone. Twenty years of service to our incredible clients, twenty years of building a community, and twenty years of doing what we love . What began as a single idea in south Louisiana has become one of the South East United States most recognized names in the barbershop industry. This 20 year celebration is more than just a moment to look back. It is a celebration of the peoplle who have shaped us and the mission that continues to guide us forward.

A Vision Born

The story of Just 4 Him began long before the first shop opened its doors. With nearly two decades of experience, Tika (The founder) understood what the industry was missing. She envisioned a place designed entirely for men where anyone could walk in and get a haircu and shave without the stress of scheduling appointments with a salon. She wanted something simple and welcoming to people looking for a haircut. Tika believed that men deserved quality without complication. That belief became the foundation of the Just 4 Him experience.

When Tika shared her vision with financial advisor Kevin Sevin, he immediately recognized its potential to expand. The idea was new, practical, and built for scale. Together, they opened the very first Just 4 Him Men’s Haircuts location in Lockport, Louisiana on December 12th of 2005. The shop quickly became a local favorite because its purpose was honest and clear. Quality haircuts in a relaxed space.

Growth

Success came quickly. Kevin understood that the business they built together had the potential to thrive far beyond just one shop. After opening several busy locations, he saw an opportunity to help others bring this experience to others. This inspired the move into franchising.

To build the strongest foundation possible, Kevin and Tika invited business leader Jimmy Cantrelle to join the Just 4 Him team.. Jimmy’s experience in contracting and leasing completed the trio and strengthened the franchise foundation. From there, Just 4 Him expanded into a brand supported by a dedicated training team and national partnerships with companies like Paul Mitchell. 

Tika, Kevin, and Jimmy later welcomed Dean into the franchising leadership team, adding another vital layer of strength to the brand’s growth. His leadership style emphasized clarity, support, and hands-on guidance, making him an essential bridge between the corporate vision and the everyday operations of each shop. With Dean onboard, the franchise network became stronger, better supported, and more unified than ever.
